Privacy Policy — Glyphs of the Unspoken

Overview

Glyphs of the Unspoken is a single-player game. We do not collect your name, email address, location, device contacts, or any information that identifies you as an individual.

This policy describes what anonymous data is collected, how it is used, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Anonymous Analytics

We collect aggregated, anonymous gameplay events to understand how the game performs and how players engage with it. These events include:

Session duration
Waves reached per run
Glyphs selected
In-app purchase completions (type only — no financial data)
App crashes and performance anomalies

These events do not include your name, Apple ID, device identifier, or geographic location. They cannot be used to identify you.

Game Center (Apple)

If you choose to authenticate with Game Center, Apple handles all authentication and profile management. We receive only a Game Center player ID scoped to our app, which we use to associate your score with a leaderboard entry. Apple’s privacy policy governs everything related to your Apple ID and Game Center profile.

iCloud Save Sync (CloudKit)

Your save data — progress, Glyph unlocks, currency, ship evolution stage — may be synced to iCloud via CloudKit if you are signed into iCloud on your device. This data is stored in your personal iCloud container and is not accessible to us. Apple’s privacy policy governs iCloud storage.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the game shows non-personalized advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob collects anonymized analytics to measure ad performance. We have disabled personalized advertising. AdMob does not receive behavioral tracking data or personal identifiers from us.

If you purchase “Remove Ads” via in-app purchase, all advertising is permanently disabled for that Apple ID and all further AdMob data collection stops.

What we do not collect

Names, email addresses, or contact information
Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
Precise or approximate location
Health or financial information
Browsing history or data from other apps
Camera or microphone data

Data retention

Anonymous analytics are retained for up to 24 months in aggregate form, then deleted.

Your data

All local game data (save files, settings, preferences) is stored on your device. You can delete it at any time via: Settings › General › iPhone Storage › Glyphs of the Unspoken › Delete App.

CloudKit save data can be deleted by managing your iCloud storage in Settings.

Children

This game is rated 9+ for Fantasy Violence. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The analytics described above are anonymous and contain no personally identifiable information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide notice within the app.
